Finn Foundation Inc. Supports Wounded Warrior Project® and Their Mission to Help Warriors Living with TBIs

Every Veterans Day, our nation pauses to honor the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. At Finn Foundation Inc., we believe this gratitude deserves to extend far beyond a single day on the calendar. It must be demonstrated through action. Real, tangible support for the individuals who have carried the weight of service on their shoulders.

This year, in 2025, we are proud to deepen our commitment to America’s heroes by supporting Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP), with a special focus on supporting warriors coping with traumatic brain injuries (TBIs)… one of the most common and life-altering wounds experienced by post-9/11 veterans.

Why We Support Wounded Warrior Project®

Wounded Warrior Project® is a national nonprofit dedicated to honoring and empowering wounded warriors through life-changing programs and services. Their mission is simple but profound: to ensure that veterans—especially those who have suffered life-altering injuries—receive the care, community, and long-term support they deserve.

Among the many challenges faced by veterans, TBIs remain one of the most prevalent and least visible. Often described as “invisible wounds,” TBIs can impact everything from cognition and memory to emotional regulation and day-to-day functioning. These injuries don’t just affect the warrior… they affect families, careers, and the ability to live a full, independent life.

WWP’s specialized programs provide veterans with:

 • Access to cutting-edge TBI treatment and rehabilitation

 • Mental health support and counseling

 • Peer-to-peer connection and mentorship

 • Long-term recovery resources

 • Advocacy for ongoing care and awareness

Their work ensures that no warrior faces the challenges of a TBI alone.

Finn Foundation’s Commitment to Our Veterans

Finn Foundation Inc. was built on a belief in community, compassion, and rising together. Supporting veterans—particularly those dealing with traumatic brain injuries—is a natural extension of that mission.

By supporting Wounded Warrior Project®, we aim to:

 • Raise crucial funds that directly support TBI recovery and mental health initiatives

 • Amplify awareness of the invisible wounds many veterans continue to battle

 • Honor the resilience and service of the veterans in our communities and across the nation

Every dollar helps provide critical care and resources to warriors who have already given so much.

The Invisible Wounds of War: Understanding TBIs

Traumatic brain injuries often occur from blasts, training accidents, combat incidents, or repeated exposure to high-pressure environments. For many veterans, the effects of a TBI are lifelong. Symptoms can include:

 • Memory loss

 • Difficulty concentrating

 • Headaches

 • Mood changes

 • Sleep disturbances

 • Depression or anxiety

Because these symptoms are not always visible, TBIs can sometimes be overlooked or misunderstood—making proper diagnosis and long-term support essential. WWP bridges that gap by offering comprehensive, veteran-centered care.

Finn Foundation Inc. invites our partners, supporters, and community members to stand with us. Together, we can make an impact that honors not only the service of our veterans but their futures.
