Past Fundraisers

During the month of March, in honor of TBI Awareness month, we launched exclusive apparel available only for this select time. We were able to raise $436.00 through apparel purchases and donations. All proceeds were donated to U of M Mott's Children Hospital "Gift of a Bear" fund. 

Gift of Bear fund puts a bear in a patient's arms, helps kids be kids and families be families, supports innovative research, and helps patients and families cope with their medical challenges.

We are thrilled to share the heartwarming success of Finn Foundation Inc's 2022 Virtual 5k Fundraiser, a remarkable event dedicated to supporting individuals affected by Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Thanks to your unwavering support, participation, and generosity, we were able to make a significant impact in the lives of TBI patients and their families. We raised $1,500 and had 35 participants! Money from this fundraiser help to pay for transportation for a TBI patient to get to and from her scheduled doctor's apointments.

This collaboration brought together the spirit of philanthropy and the joy of giving, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of TBI patients and families. In 2021, Finn Foundation Inc joined forces with One Hope Wine, a purpose-driven company with a mission to bring together the love of wine and the desire to make a positive impact in the world. This unique collaboration united our passion for supporting the TBI community with One Hope Wine's commitment to supporting various charitable causes throu the sale of exceptional wines. 10% of every purchase made through One Hope Wine helped to support Traumatic Brain Injury survivors through donations, education, and connections among the TBI community.

Through the collective efforts and generous contributions of our dedicated supporters, we raised an incredible amount of $938.70 to support individuals affected by Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). This initiative not only promoted environmental sustainability, but it also provided an opportunity for individuals to come together in support of the TBI community. We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from friends, family, and community members who rallied behind our cause.

In 2017, Finn Foundation Inc organized its first-ever Virtual 5k, embracing the concept of a virtual race that trancends geographical boundaries. Participants from all corners of the world joined hands, running or walking, in support of TBI patients and their families. The Virtual 5k allowed individuals of all abilities to come together in solidarity, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. The event not only raised critical funds to provide care packages to patients in the hospital, but it spread awareness about the challenges faced by individuals living with TBI.

In 2017, Finn Foundation Inc hosted a thrilling bowling extravaganza at Pinz, a local entertainment destination. The event aimed to raise awareness about TBI while fostering a sense of community and togetherness. With the sound of rolling balls and cheers echoing through the lanes, participants embraced the spirit of competition while demonstrating their commitment to a noble cause. Our bowling event captured the hearts of our local South Lyon community and beyond. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, friendship, and the shared passion for making a difference in the lives of TBI patients and their family.

In 2016, Finn Foundation Inc hosted a remarkable bowling fundraiser at a local bowling alley. The event served as a platform to raise awareness about TBI and the challenges faced by those living with this condition. Participants of all ages and abilities enthusiastically gathered, embracing the spirit of unity and compassion. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every participant, donor, volunteer, and supporter who made the 2016 Bowling Event a success.

The funds raised during the event were thoughtfully directed to further Finn Foundation Inc's endeavors.

In 2013, Finn Foundation Inc organized its first bowling fundraiser that brought together friends, families, and advocates for an enjoyable afternoon with a meaningful purpose. The event aimed to raise awareness about TBI, foster community engagement, and generate essential funds to further our TBI support initiatives. The event exemplified the strength of community and compassion in effecting change. Amidst the sound of rolling balls and peals of laughter, participants formed lasting connections, united by a shared determination to uplift the TBI community.

In 2010, our fundraising initiatives began when Ryan's friends and family sold "Team Finn" bracelets at a local South Lyon restaurant to help Ryan's parents with hospital bills and to gather as a community to foster hope. These bracelets became powerful symbols of solidarity, representing the collective effort to uplift and advocate for Ryan's successful recovery. This fundraiser resonated deeply with our local community. Customers and patrons alike embraced the opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause while enjoying Leo's delicious fare.
